Dear Billy,
I just want to thank you for making our Florida vacation. My family routinely vacations in the Sanibel and Fort Myers area. Unfortunately, my father has been ill, however we still decided to take our Florida trip. We were concerned how he (and my mother and I) would enjoy the beautiful Sanibel beaches since he is unable to walk and standard wheelchairs are useless. That is where you come in. We saw the sign stating availability of beach wheelchairs and called the telephone number. The police department was great and we were set up with a beach wheelchair. You graciously showed us how to operate the chair and even pushed my father in the chair down to the beach. You treated my father with respect and courtesy and we appreciated it immensely. My family was able to enjoy the beach and the beautiful surroundings. Our experience was so positive that upon hearing about the beach wheelchairs, my brother took his family to Sanibel for the first time. His wife is in a wheelchair and has not been able to enjoy beaches for some time. I have enclosed a photograph of my parents with my father enjoying the Sanibel beach from his wheelchair. We are currently planning our next trip down to Sanibel. Your community is in my thoughts and prayers. We will see you again in 2005. Fondest regards,
Cheryl Smith

Hi,
We always rent from Billys because the people are great and the service is better. The bikes are great, but if we have a problem its taken care of quickly and with no trouble. We come to Sanibel each year and one thing we can count on for sure is Billys.

Dear Billy,
I ride my bike 20 miles each day, which is hard on it. Invariably, tires fail, brakes wear out, and gears go out of adjustment. Billy and his friendly staff, especially Valdy the service-guy, are always ready to get me back on the road fast, and at reasonable rates. I can really count on them!

This is a long-overdue thank you:
We took in a family of five (!) from New Orleans after hurricane Katrina destroyed their restaurant and flooded their home. They stayed with us until hurricane Wilma's imminent arrival convinced them to go back to New Orleans to try to restart their lives. They arrived with little more than the clothes they had on and "two changes each" for the kids. The Sanibel community helped them out, the school took the kids in beautifully, and BILLY'S BIKES was incredibly gracious in supplying the FREE use of bikes for the family (and helmets) while they were here. They all loved biking on the trails, used the bikes extensively, and returned them with thanks. They used them so much that I think returning the bikes was the very last thing they did before leaving the island. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT FOR THIS FAMILY IN NEED. It made a big difference for them, and we were & are impressed with Billy's generosity.

We had a great time! But where are our pictures on your gallery? We've been checking every day. We took our tour on Jan. 16, 2006. Will keep checking!

Hi Billy,
We were on one of your first tours of Sanibel. It was awesome! After the training, you gave us a great "insiders" look at Sanibel and many sites that there would be now way for us to find.
We were really impressed with the time you took with us. We never felt hurried and you always made us feel that we were the center of your attention for the time we were with you.
You were just starting when we were there, but we hope that others may find your tours and enjoy them as much as we did.
We hope to get back to Sanibel soon and are ready to sign up for another tour (or two)!
Best wishes for the continued success of your new adventure and thanks again for the great time!

What a great way to spend a couple hours on Sanibel. The segways are awesome, easy to learn and fun to cruise the neighborhood on.If someone wants to learn to ride a Segway, Billy's is the place to do it.. A+ all the way....Thanks for the tour and the lesson..

Billy,
Thanks for taking the time with us concerning the Segways, that very nice
of you and enlightening for us. Our niece, Jess really enjoyed that
experience with the Segway. Your mechanic, I cannot recall his name was
very professional and super courtious while he straightened our tantem's
front wheel.
Thank you very much for being a great little bike shop. We will spread a
good word about your place and look forward to visiting you again!

Billy, incredible to come home and see the video of myself from London. Rain has greeted us for the last few days and last week's 94F heat seems a distant memory. The video of myself will burn with me forever and is/will be a poignant memory to a quite spiritual and cathartic time in Sanibel which you, Billy with your kindness and intuition have made possible. If ever you come to London you and your family will be welcome into my home with open arms. I will ring to make a donation tomorrow. You have given me a voice which is so ironic considering all the hundreds of people I have interviewed. Many many thanks Much Love Henry

Hi Billy,
Just wanted to thank you and your staff for a great time on Wednesday, Nov. 7. We took the tour with Ryan and had a ball. He is a great guy and you're fortunate to have someone as friendly and pleasant to guide your tours.
I am interested in getting a Segway here in Nova Scotia, but, I understand that, throughout Canada, we're experiencing some of the same problems that you are having in Sanibel...no one knows just how to classify Segways: bike or sidewalk conveyance. As a result, I'm going to wait until some legislation is introduced...I don't want to buy one and not be able to use it on the sidewalks or streets...not much use in my backyard...too hilly and rocky.
Again, thanks to Ryan for a great tour.

Thank you for your wonderful service -- we had a marvelous week on Sanibel, and appreciate your drop off and pick up service to Buttonwood Lane! :-) The bikes were terrific! Thanks again ... so much, and we'll contact you again on our next visit.
With gratitude,
SusanBeth Purifico :-)

Billy,
Thanks for letting us rent the Segways for the Homestead NASCAR races.
What a great platform to work a crowd and still be able to be 100% mobile. I wish more agency administrators could experience what we did this weekend. Hopefully the Segway will eventually find it's proper place in all Law Enforcement agencies.
Thanks again,
Scott
