Things You Should Know

Online Reservations: 

  • Online Reservations have a duration minimum of 3 days or more for most items.
  • Reservation start date must be a minimum of 3 days from today!

Day counting:
Days are 24-hour spans.
For in-store rentals, your rental time starts when payment is made.

  • Online reservation day Starts at 12:00:00 AM (midnight).
  • Online reservations day Ends at 11:59:59 PM(midnight).

Example: An online reservation from Jan 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. is 3 days.
Your items will be delivered to your chosen delivery location.
Items will be ready for use on your Start date (Jan 1st)
Your rental will end the night on your End date (Jan 3rd) 
We will pick up and process your return after your End date.
This could be any time after Jan 3rd at 11:59:59 PM.

  • If your items were not picked up within 2 days after rental end date. Please contact us.
  •  We try our best to respect noise and lighting while we operate during non daylight hours. 

Delivery and Pickup Options

Standard Delivery:

  • For rentals longer than 3 consecutive days, we can deliver bikes and equipment to your Sanibel/Captiva residence.
    • Sanibel: $15 per order*
    • Captiva: $25 per order*

Special Delivery:

  • Select items (beach wheelchairs, multi-passenger bikes, e-bikes, road bikes) may have special delivery options and fees. These are calculated per rental.

What's Included with Delivery:

  • Delivery and pickup of your rental equipment.
  • Waiving of the $50 hold (normally required if you pick up yourself).

Self-Pickup and Return (If you decline delivery):

  • A $50 hold is required.
  • You must return the equipment to 1470 Periwinkle Way.
  • Late returns may incur extra fees, and the $50 hold may not be returned.

Delivery Timing:

  • We operate mainly as a contactless delivery. We do not notify you before/after delivery.
  • Delivery is scheduled for just before your rental start time, but might arrive earlier.
  • Items will be left at the closest open bike rack/storage area, per your accommodations' rules.
    Check nearby racks if you don't see your items.

Pickup Timing:

  • We operate mainly as a contactless delivery. We do not notify you before/after pickup.
  • Pickup is scheduled after your rental ends; there may be delays up to two days (even until nighttime).

To avoid issues with the pickup process:

  • If your Unit number or location changes during your rental duration,
    Please contact us with the updated pickup location.
  • Leave equipment visible, near the delivered location.
  • Don't relocate or use equipment after your rental ends.
  • Don't store bikes in inaccessible areas (garages, storage units).
  • Extra fees may apply for unnecessary pickup/delivery visits.
  • If your items are not picked up within 2 days after the rental end date, please contact us.

 We try our best to respect noise and lighting concerns while we operate during non daylight hours. 

Helmets and Locks:

  • Bike helmet rentals are free (required for those under 16 years old).
  • We recommend bringing your own for the best fit.
  • Scooter riders must wear DOT-approved helmets.
  • Keyed locks and cables are provided. One lock works for 1-4 bikes.

Issues, Adjustments, & Mechanical Issues:

  • Free Road Service* for Rental Bikes experiencing flat tires and mechanical problems.
  • Call 239-472-5248 with your reservation number, last name, contact number, issue, and location.
  • Response time depends on availability.
  • Small adjustments can be made by riding to our rental yard during business hours.
  • Free air. Bikes, Cars, Inflatables, etc.
    *NOTE: During non-business hours, access to correct air attachments or gauges might not be available.*

Locating Your Bike and Rental Items:

  • Accommodations have different item storage rules.
  • Please understand and abide by your accommodation rules regarding the storage of all items.
  • Check the closest bike rack; if full, check other nearby racks.

Missing Equipment:

  • Call 239-472-5248 if something is missing or stolen.

Wrong Size Bike:

  • Contact us for a replacement in the correct available size.
  • We prioritize safety and proper sizing.
  • Not all bikes can be adjusted.

Adjustments:

  • Agents can help with seat adjustments, but fine-tuning is not possible on all bikes.
  • For seat height, Don't go past the MINIMUM INSERTION LINE on the seatpost.
  • Overly extended seat posts can damage the bike frame and cause injury.
  • Don't add on, modify, or adjust equipment yourself without our approval, instruction, or guidance. Doing so could cause injury or damage.

Should you prefer to Ship your bike to the islands, we accept shipments and will reassemble it for you to enjoy; After your stay, we disassemble, pack, and return ship your bike home. *LINK*s

Another attractive and easy option would be to purchase a new bike at Billy’s Bike Shop, ride during vacation, and then ship it to your hometown!
Our friendly staff will quote prices and assist in making the arrangements.
