Bike Rental Rates

The following rates are for ALL Rental Methods.
All Walk-in Rentals, Web Reservations, Email, and Telephone Reservations 

ONLINE Reservations are accepted only for a duration of 3 Days or more and at least 3 days in advance of the rental start date to ensure delivery.

• If you wish to rent for less than 3 days duration, you will need to come into the rental yard as a walk-in rental.
• If you wish to rent bikes for 3 days or more duration, but it is less than 3 days before the rental start date,

_{Attachments*: This is the base price of the attachment by its self with out the "captain's" bike.
Child Seat Weight*: The weight limit for our Child Seat is 35lbs.}

_E-Bikes**: 

• _{While Sanibel Island regulations permit e-bike operation at age 16, our rental policy requires riders to be 18 years or older.}
• _{Ebike availability is subject to change, especially during peak periods, and is ultimately at the instructor's discretion.}
• _{All renters must sign a liability waiver, demonstrate the ability to safely operate the e-bike, and agree to comply with all applicable laws and the terms of the waiver.}

_{Locks: One lock is included with your rental for every four bikes.
Helmets are FREE to rent for anyone: Billy wants everyone to be safe while biking; if you need to borrow a helmet, please stop in!}

Beach Equipment and Accessible Items

Online reservations are accepted only for 3 day or more, with at least 3 days in advance from rental start date.

BeachWalker*: This is a walker with beach wheels, not a beach wheelchair. The bench on the walker is for resting ONLY. The walker will be damaged if a person is being pushed while sitting on the bench. Maximum RESTING/supporting weight on the walker is 200 LBS.

Billy wants to offer the joy of the islands with FREE accessibility rental for up to 2 hours.

Delivery and Pickup Options

Standard Delivery:

• For rentals longer than 3 consecutive days, we can deliver bikes and equipment to your Sanibel/Captiva residence.
  • Sanibel: $15 per order*
  • Captiva: $25 per order*

Special Delivery:

• Select items (beach wheelchairs, multi-passenger bikes, e-bikes, road bikes) may have special delivery options and fees.
• Special fitting, training, etc.
• Special deliveries are calculated per rental.

What's Included with Delivery:

• Delivery and pickup of your rental equipment.
• Waiving of the $50 hold (normally required if you pick up yourself).

Delivery Timing:

• We operate mainly as a contactless delivery. We do not currently notify you before/after delivery.
• Delivery is scheduled for just before your rental start time, but might arrive earlier.
• Items will be left at the closest open bike rack/storage area, per your accommodations' rules.
  Check nearby racks if you don't see your items.

Return-Pickup Timing:

• We operate mainly as a contactless delivery. We do not notify you before/after pickup.
• Pickup is scheduled after your rental ends; there may be delays up to two days (even until nighttime).

To avoid issues with the Return-Pickup process:

• If your Unit number or location changes during your rental duration, Please contact us with the updated pickup location.
• Leave equipment visible, near the delivered location.
• Don't relocate or use equipment after your rental ends.
• Don't store bikes in inaccessible areas (garages, storage units).
• Extra fees may apply for unnecessary pickup/delivery visits.
• If your items are not picked up within 2 days after the rental end date, please contact us.

We try our best to respect noise and lighting concerns while we operate during non-daylight hours. 

Walk-in or "Will-call" - Customer Pickup and Return to 1470 Periwinkle Way:

Self-Pickup and Return (If you decline delivery):

• A $50 hold is required for multi-day rentals.
• Redeemable upon return of all equipment by the customer!
• You must return the equipment to 1470 Periwinkle Way.
• Late returns may incur extra fees, failure to return items will forfeit the $50 hold.
  Please note that once the rental duration has started in our system, and you have your rental items,
  We can not change the return method from "Customer will return" to "delivery and pickup".
• Orders utilizing delivery/pickup services do not require this hold

Motor Scooter Rentals.

We are sorry to announce that Billy's Rentals is not offering Motor Scooter Rentals for the 2026 spring season.

If pedaling around is not your style, then you'll love cruising around the island on our stylish 49-cc scooters!
Please remember, the City of Sanibel requires ALL operators and passengers to wear a helmet and possess a valid driver's license when renting motorized scooters.

A $250 security deposit must be placed on a major credit card, no debit cards allowed.

All scooters are subject to a 5.00 dollar a day Sanibel user fee.

Billy’s Rentals has the following additional requirements for scooter rental:

     Drivers and passengers must be at least 4 feet tall. (1.22 Meters)

     Drivers must be experienced in operating a motor scooter or motorcycle.

Drivers must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license. NO LEARNER'S PERMITS ALLOWED. No exceptions, please.

We want to make sure you have a SAFE and memorable vacation. One of our staff will go over the functions of the scooter and do a short test to make sure you are competent to safely operate the motor scooter.

Note: Due to the many variables involved in renting and riding a scooter, we do not accept reservations.
We try to keep a good inventory of scooters on hand. Please understand that during busy times, scooters may be limited.
