Step-Through bikes are now manufactured in a unisex frame, which has the bar a little higher than a bike traditionally named a "ladies frame" and is considered respectable for both men and women alike.
Anyone who has a problem throwing a leg over the high bar of a Traditional frame bike (from knee or back surgery, etc.) would find a Step-Through frame easier to mount, and anyone less than 5'9" tall might also want the 17" frame rather than the Traditional Diamond 19" frame.

Available in adult sizes (16" Wheels), these bikes feature wide wheels, larger padded seats, comfortable handlebars, a coaster brake (pedal backwards to stop), a front basket, and quick-release seat adjustment. • Small 14" Frame (26" wheel) - Step-Through frame for riders
  4'11" (149) to 5'5" (167cm) in height
• Large 17" Frame (26" wheel) - Step-Through frame for riders
  5'5" (167cm) to 5'9" (175cm) in height.
• Extra Large 19" Frame (26" wheel) - Step-Through frame for riders
  5'9" (175cm) to  6' (183cm) in height.

The Attachment:

With these child trailers, nobody gets left out of the biking fun.
Attaches to MOST adult bikes (except bikes with trail-bike, or tandems.)
We offer a few different styles, and these units can carry 1 or 2 children with a total weight limit of 90 pounds (bike helmets are required for children in trailers).

The child needs to be able to hold up their head with a helmet on.
We refuse to rent for newborn/infant usage! The danger is too great for babies less than 1 year old.
